Cost of Services
​Payment can be made via e-transfer, debit card, or credit card. Private psychological services are not covered by the government. Many insurance companies offer coverage, and you might be reimbursed by your provider. A pre-determination letter for your insurance provider can be emailed to you upon request.

Psycho-Educational Assessments (Psych-Eds)
My fee for service is $250 per hour. A psycho-educational assessment costs approximately $3,600. Depending on the needs of the client, assessments may take somewhat less or more time than the approximate durations listed below.

Cost breakdown:
1. Background interview and assessment preparation (1.5 hours, $375)
2. Record and questionnaire review (1 hour, $250)
3. Testing session day 1 (2.5 hours, $625)
4. Testing session day 2 (2.5 hours, $625)
5. Test scoring and review (1 hour, $250)
6. Feedback session (1 hour, $250)
7. Report preparation (5 hours, $1,250)

Autism Assessments
A. Autism assessment as part of the psycho-educational assessment
Questions relevant to the diagnostic criteria of ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) are included in the standard background interview. A follow up interview and preparation/review of additional questionnaires, when appropriate, may result in additional charges.

B. Autism assessment only
Often, autism is explored as part of the psycho-educational assessment. However, in cases when this is not warranted (such as if testing has already been completed, or in the case of an adult no longer in school), the fee for this service is approximately $2,500. The assessment would involve a background interview, completing questionnaires, and potentially the ADOS-2 (an interactive, in-person assessment), and/or the ADI (Autism Diagnostic Interview) with parents.

Other clinical assessments, including AD/HD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) assessments
Usually reserved for adults, an AD/HD-specific assessment includes a background interview, clinical interviews, questionnaires, record (e.g., report card) review, and select cognitive testing. The fee for this service is approximately $2,200.

Clinical assessments of other suspected mental disorders (e.g., mood disorders and anxiety disorders) are also offered and billed at my hourly rate of $250.

Consultation and Counselling
The rate for consultation and counselling (or psychotherapy) is $250. This includes 50 minutes allocated to client contact and 10 minutes allocated to record keeping.
